Leadership

Troy came to Lakeview in April of 2013 and has a heart for preaching the Word and reaching our world for Christ. Before Lakeview, he pastored 2 churches in Florida. Troy received a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from The Baptist College of Florida and a Master of Arts in Ministry from Luther Rice College & Seminary. He is married to the love of his life, Yvette. They have four wonderful children and three amazing grandsons. He loves the outdoors, getting together with friends and family, and Alabama Football... ROLL TIDE!

Jerry joined Lakeview’s staff with almost fifty years of pastoral experience. He has a passion for senior adults, teaching God’s Word, Tennessee Volunteer football, and his wonderful family which includes the most recent addition, his great-granddaughter  Makenzie Hope.

Trey desires to see students reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the local body and across the globe. He has received a Bachelor of Arts in English from UNC Wilmington and a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Liberty University. He is also passionate about technology and its capability to reach people on a worldwide basis. He and his wife, Whitney, have three sons and enjoy hiking as a family.

Kelli has been in ministry since 1987. She is eager to invite anyone to know Jesus as their personal Savior. Along with hands-on experience, at the age of 40 she enrolled and completed the “Preschool/Children’s Ministry Certification through Campbell University Divinity School. Kelli and her husband Scott have been married for 36 years. They have 2 dogs, many nieces, and nephews. God has blessed them with many children to minister to. She enjoys camping, gardening, crafting, and photography. Ministering to children and their families are her passion.

Shelia came to Lakeview in 2003.  In 2021, she celebrated 25 years of church administrative service.  She gave her heart to Jesus in 1982. She is married to Robert, and they have one daughter.  She loves spending time with her grandson. She’s a huge Marvel and Star Trek fan and loves spending time at the beach.

Melissa began serving at Lakeview in 2012. She joined the Lakeview family in 2004 and her entire family was baptized here in 2005. She is married to her husband of 32 years, Chris, and they have one daughter, Cassidy Keller Carrigan. She enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and antique shopping. Melissa became GiGi to her first grand-daughter in March of 2022. 

Jimmie came to work at Lakeview in 2002. Before his employment here, he was a general contractor.  You can see his handiwork all around the church; his work is his ministry.  He and his wife, Glenda, have 2 children and 7 grandchildren.  His hobbies are dirt bike racing and camping and he is an Appalachian State Mountaineers football fan.
